Efua NyansaA play shows how you present a certain face to those around you, hiding what is true beneath a mask of careful movement. This dream speaks of the ways we arrange our lives to be seen a certain way by our kin and our neighbors. When we treat our daily dealings as a performance, we often distance ourselves from the very people we seek to impress.
The ways we carry ourselves in these moments can lead to a life where the heart is kept behind a curtain. You might find that the more you lean into the role, the less you are known by your own household. This pretense can create a gap where honest words used to live. Such a distance is a heavy thing to carry among those who should know you best.
Yet, the truth remains even when the curtains are drawn, and the people who truly belong to you see the person beneath the mask. May your hearth always be a place where you can lay down the heavy robes of your role and be known.
When you are acting in a play, the dream warns that you are actively constructing a version of yourself that does not hold the weight of reality. This effort to control how others perceive you consumes the energy that should go toward building real bonds.
The dream changes its tone if you are watching a play, as this means you are observing a truth that has already been laid bare. You are no longer the one hiding, but the one seeing the pretense in others or the patterns of your own life, which brings a clarity that is often hard to face, child.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
