Efua NyansaA passport is the permission to change your standing and move toward a new way of being. When you see this in a dream, it marks a threshold where your place in the world is being weighed.
We know that those who walk with a clear purpose find the gates open before them. When a person is ready to step into a new role, the household feels the shift in the wind. You might feel the weight of where you have been as you stand where you are going, and this dream points to the strength you hold in your name. May your footing be firm as you walk toward the light of a new day.
Holding a passport and renewing a passport signify that the road ahead is open. As you grip your papers or make them whole again, child, you find the strength to walk, and your family feels that you are finally ready to arrive.
A passport being stolen describes a moment where you are being pulled from where you belong. You are being moved from your place without a word, and the loss leaves you feeling as though your rightful ground has been pulled away.
Forgetting a passport and seeing an expired passport both signal that a boundary remains uncrossed. These dreams show a hindrance that keeps you from the threshold, as if the time for your transition has been stalled by a simple oversight or an old way of being that no longer serves you.
Losing a passport means the name that the world knows you by is slipping away. You find yourself stranded at a boundary, unable to move forward because the proof of your standing has vanished.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
