Efua NyansaA monitor lizard marks a slow and patient enmity that watches for the time when you fail. This dream shows how a patient enmity settles into the way people move around one another, watching for a slip in character or a lapse in loyalty. Such a way of living pulls the warmth from a circle, as if a shadow has been cast over the shared hearth.
When an adversary waits in silence, the peace of the people is never truly held. We see that those who hold onto a grudge like this do not strike with a shout, but they linger until the spirit of the group is worn thin. There is a weight in this dream of a threat that does not leave, and it sits among the living like a cold stone. If you find yourself child in such a space, the tension is already there, waiting for the stillness to break. The household finds its strength when the watchful eyes are finally met. May your path be cleared of all that waits in the dark.
A monitor lizard in the house shows that this slow grudge has settled into your own rooms and the lives of those you hold dear. Because the threat has moved into your personal space, the danger is no longer a passing thing but something that lives within the very walls of your daily existence.
You find that killing a monitor lizard turns the verdict of the dream from one of waiting to one of action. By ending the threat, you settle the enmity that was gathering, and this act brings a sudden clarity to the lives of those who belong to you.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
