Efua NyansaA mermaid is an allure that masks a hidden peril. This dream is a sign of a beautiful deception that pulls the heart toward a path of shifting shadows.
When we follow such a pull, we drift away from the solid ground of those who know our true name. The elders say that those who chase the beautiful lie find themselves lost in a realm where nothing can be grasped. You are facing a temptation that seeks to pull you from the safety of your people. The weight of this deception is a burden that can isolate you from the warmth of the hearth. If you hold to the truth of your house, the clarity of your path remains. May your feet find the firm earth and your heart find its way home.
The presence of mermaids in water suggests that the trial you face is as deep and vast as the sea itself. This dream shows that the deceit reaches into the very well from which you and your family drink.
Seeing an evil mermaid makes the warning much sharper, child, for it shows that the deceit is not accidental but actively working against you. This dream reveals that the shadow you encounter has a will to mislead, making the need to guard your heart even more urgent.
You find yourself turning into a mermaid or swimming with mermaids when the danger is no longer something outside of you, but something you have begun to welcome. To take on this shape is to let the lie become your own truth, and we hope you keep the strength to remain as you are.
Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
