Efua NyansaA locust brings a sudden wind that sweeps the grain from the threshing floor and leaves the granaries empty. This dream speaks of how a small, unheeded shift in how you manage what you have can lead to a great emptiness for everyone in the house. When we do not watch the edges of our livelihood, the waste comes so fast that there is no time to gather what remains.
You may find that the things you once relied upon to feed your kin are being eaten away by a hunger you did not see coming. This loss reaches beyond your own hands to the very hearth where your people sit. It is a time when the abundance of the past feels far away and the present feels thin. Such a dream is a sign that the security of your household is being tested by a force that does not care for your plans. May your hands find strength to protect what is left and may your neighbors stand with you to rebuild the stores.
The act of killing a locust changes the weight of this dream by offering a way to stop the hunger before it spreads. By striking at the pest, you refuse to let the emptiness take hold. This movement makes you a guardian of the grain rather than a witness to its disappearance.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
