Efua NyansaA grasscutter in a dream shows where the small things you overlook are eating at the foundation of your house. When we do not watch for the small movements in the field, we find that what we thought was growing is actually being hollowed out from beneath. It is a small, hidden hunger that works while you are looking at the sky.
This loss is not a sudden storm, but a slow wearing away of the security your family has built together. It is the kind of damage that makes the ground feel soft when it should be firm. You see how the strength of the harvest is diminished because the small mouths were allowed to work in the shade. May your eyes be opened to what is being taken, so that the roots of your people remain deep and untouched.
The dream of catching a grasscutter means the profit that was slipping away is now held fast in your hands. You stop the theft before the storehouse is empty, and the food stays where it belongs for all to eat.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
