Efua NyansaA cutlass marks a time when you find yourself standing in the path of a sudden rivalry or a necessary defense. This dream speaks of the sharpness of spirit required when one must protect what is theirs from a quick and biting challenge. When people take up such a hard edge, the peace of the yard is often broken, and the words spoken in anger can cut the bonds between kin and neighbor.
When you meet this energy, the spirit of the house is tested by how closely you hold to your own boundaries. A sharp stance can sometimes isolate you from those who share your hearth, as the readiness to defend can easily turn into a readiness to wound. The weight of this dream is the risk of a split that cannot be easily mended. Yet, there is a strength in knowing your own worth and standing firm in your place, child, which brings a clarity to all who see your resolve. May your strength always serve to preserve the peace of your people.
Buying a cutlass in a dream shows a spirit that looks for weapons of defense before the storm has even broken. You are preparing your heart for a contest that has not yet reached your door.
Holding a cutlass or fighting with a cutlass in a dream shifts the meaning from a state of being to a state of action. These dreams show that the rivalry is no longer a shadow, but a lived struggle where your hands are already busy with the work of defense or the heat of the contest.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
