Efua NyansaA coma is a sign of affairs that have come to a standstill and a spirit that cannot find its way back to the work of the hands. This dream shows a time when the movement of your life has been halted, leaving you unable to reach out to those who stand beside you. When the rhythm of the household is broken by such a stillness, it is because something vital has been set aside and left to rest in a place where no one can touch it.
This stillness is what happens when the ties that bind you to your people are stretched thin by a lack of action. You may feel as though you are watching from a distance while the world moves on without your voice. This silence sits heavy in the house like dust on a chair that no one uses. If you find yourself unable to respond to the needs of your kin, the weight of that silence remains. There is a peace in the stillness, however, that allows the soul to find its footing again. May your strength return to you and your hands find their way back to the tasks of the living.
Waking up from a coma changes the stillness into a movement of recovery. This shift means that the period of being unable to act is ending, and you are finding your way back to the world of the living.
Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
