Efua NyansaA closet is where you keep the parts of your life that are not meant for the eyes of the street. This dream names the space where things are tucked away, and it points to the way you manage what is held in secret between you and your own heart.
When we pull back the curtain on what is stored, we see how we treat our own truths. To hold things in the dark is to protect a part of the self, but it can also mean that the things you keep are no longer serving the life you live with others. If you are not careful, the weight of what is hidden can make you feel small and distant from your own kin. You know what is worth keeping, child, and your feet find a firm path when you do not fear what sits behind the door. The household finds its balance when the private and the shared are both given their rightful place. May you find the lightness that comes from a life lived in the open.
Hiding in a closet is a dream where you seek to stay out of the light to keep yourself from being seen. This movement shows a desire to remain untouched by the judgments of others, which brings a temporary safety to your spirit.
Cleaning out a closet changes the meaning by turning the focus toward the care of your private affairs. By tending to these hidden things, you are making room for new growth and ensuring that your past does not clutter your present.
Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
