Efua NyansaA ball in a dream speaks to the way the ground shifts beneath your feet. It is the sign of a life that refuses to stay still, where the things you hold are always in motion.
When people try to grasp what is rolling, they often find their hands empty, for this dream names a time when stability is not to be found in objects but in how we stand. We have seen that those who chase after a shifting fortune lose their footing among their kin, while those who accept the movement find a way to walk with grace. You may feel the weight of this uncertainty, child, as the path you knew begins to tilt. This movement is a hard thing to face when the hearth is cold and the rooms are empty. Still, there is a strength that comes to your household when you learn to move with the turning of the world. May your feet find their rhythm in the dance.
The act of inflating a ball shows you are breathing life into something that has no fixed shape. You are swelling a matter that has no roots, and you must watch how much air you give it before it escapes your grasp.
A black ball or the act of playing ball both point to a dream where the uncertainty is a matter of how you engage with the world. Whether the color is dark or the movement is a game, you are entering a period where nothing is settled, and you must learn to react to what is thrown your way rather than trying to command it.
A giant ball makes the shifting nature of your dream much more daunting. Because the scale is so great, the movement of your fortune feels as though it could sweep away everything you have built.
Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
