Efua NyansaTunnels are the narrow ways of life where the path is set and the walls press close against you. We see this in the way a person moves through the world when they have chosen a road that demands everything of them. Such a path is often a sign of a season where you find yourself working through a tight and difficult space.
This dream points to the ways you labor to reach a place of rest or a new way of being for those you carry with you. You may feel the weight of the earth above you as you strive to make a way through the hardness of your current days. This struggle is the way you show your loyalty to the life you have built. There is a danger that the very ground you rely on might give way, leaving you without the support you have known. If the walls fall, the strength you have gathered is momentarily lost to the dust. The hope of the household remains in the effort you make to see the way through.
The act of digging a tunnel shows that the hardship you face is born of your own hands and your own will. You are the one creating the narrow way, which means the toil is a choice you make to reach something hidden or necessary.
When you are crawling through a tunnel, the dream shows how much the path has shrunk to fit your spirit. This movement is a sign of how you must humble yourself and move with great care to navigate the small spaces life has left for you.
A dream of being stuck in a tunnel or a tunnel collapse speaks of the moments when the path is suddenly taken from you. Whether the way is blocked or the roof falls, the result is a loss of the freedom to move forward, and this brings a sudden stillness that demands you face the barrier where you stand.
Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
