Efua NyansaTrying on shoes means you are weighing a new way to move through the world. When you test how a step feels before you commit to the walk, you are looking for the right rhythm for your life and for those who walk beside you.
The elders teach us that how we prepare for a journey determines how we hold our place among our neighbors. To try on shoes is to seek a manner of being that does not stumble or cause others to stumble in your wake. If the way you choose to move is clumsy, it creates a distance between you and the household. You are finding the footing that allows you to stand firm. This dream shows you the moment of deciding how you will carry yourself.
You look for ground that holds you, child, so that your walking does not break the peace of the house. May your steps be sure and your way be clear.
Changing shoes in a dream means you are leaving one way of living behind to take up another. This movement tells you that the old way of walking is finished and a new season of your life has begun.
Trying on different shoes in a dream shows that you are examining many possibilities for your next step. This search tells you that you are not yet settled in one way of being and are looking for the most honest way to move.
Choosing shoes in a dream means you have reached a point of decision. You are no longer merely looking, but are deciding which path will become your true way of walking.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
