Efua NyansaTraffic marks a time when the paths between people are crowded and the common work of the village slows to a crawl. We see that when the ways are full, the movement of the whole household is bound by the movement of the many. This dream means that the progress of your own affairs is currently held by the weight of public matters or the needs of the community.
A person who finds themselves in this state often feels the pull of a world that will not move as quickly as the heart desires. You may find that the things you wish to settle are waiting on the resolution of matters that belong to everyone. When the roads are thick with others, the individual must wait for the collective to find its way. The heavy side of this dream is the stillness that comes when you cannot force the world to yield. The strength of your people is found in the patience that holds the household together while the ways are full. May the paths clear for you and those you love.
When you are driving against traffic, the dream shows a desire to push through when the way is not yours to take. This direction changes the meaning because it suggests that your attempt to reach your goal is meeting a resistance that comes from fighting the natural flow of the people around you.
The sight of running in traffic shows your speed being broken by the weight of the crowd. It reveals that even when you try to hasten your way, the presence of the many stops your stride, child, reminding you that no one moves truly alone.
Being in traffic or being stuck in traffic shows a dream where the progress of your life is halted because the paths are too crowded to pass. This stillness comes from the fact that you are caught in a moment where the shared movement of others prevents your own advancement.
Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
