Efua NyansaThe desert shows how life strips you down to what is truly yours. When a person walks into such a place, they leave the shade of the house to face a hard trek where nothing is given for free. Such a way of living often brings a distance between you and the people who know your name, as the struggle for what is needed occupies the mind.
This dream is a sign of a path where the old ways no longer provide sustenance. You may feel the weight of a life that has become thin or a road that lacks the support of your kin. There is a risk of losing the way home, child, if the heart forgets why it began the trek. Yet, the hardness of the ground often clears the eyes to what truly matters. The household finds its strength when the wanderer returns with a clearer sight. May you find the firm earth beneath your feet.
When you are going to the desert, the dream speaks of a choice to step away from what is known. This departure is not a sudden break, but a movement toward a state where you must rely solely on your own strength.
To be lost in the desert or simply being in the desert is to feel the confusion of a life that has lost its landmarks. This state of being brings an aimless struggle that can weary the spirit and distance you from the guidance of your elders.
Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
