Efua NyansaShooting deer means a sudden and sharp interruption in the way you move through your life. This dream shows how reaching for a gentle thing can bring a blow that halts your walking.
When we reach for things that are meant to be left alone, we often find that the very act of our pursuit brings a finality that cannot be undone. This way of acting has been known to leave a stillness in the house that is not the stillness of rest, but the silence of a loss that happened too quickly. You may feel the weight of a cycle that has been cut short, child, as the grace you were following vanishes. Such a thing is an abrupt end to a path you thought you were walking.
The calm of your kin and the stillness of your own courtyard stay with you even when the chase is over. May you find a way to walk where the shadows do not break.
A deer being killed changes the dream into a vision of a slow and painful breaking. The way the life is taken makes this a long suffering that lingers in the spirit.
Hunting deer adds the sense of a beauty that slipped through your fingers to the dream. It shows that the trouble in this dream comes from the way you grasp at something that was never meant to be held.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
