Dream about selling clothes

Selling clothes means you are letting go of the ways you wish to be seen by those around you. This dream shows a movement away from the roles you have worn to satisfy the eyes of the village or the expectations of your kin. When a person decides to part with their outward standing, they are often preparing to step into a new way of being among their people.

You are shedding the weight of what was once required of you to maintain your place in the gathering. This process of casting off an old identity allows for a clearing of the path between you and your neighbors. Such a dream often comes when the old ways of carrying yourself no longer fit the person you are becoming. There is a risk that in this transition, the respect you have worked for might feel thin or uncertain. The strength of your household rests on the truth of who you are, not the finery you display. May your people see your heart even when the old garments are gone.

Selling old clothes indicates that the transition you are making is a purposeful shedding of a past that no longer serves your growth. By letting go of these used identities, you clear the space needed for a more honest presence within your family.
