Efua NyansaSearching for clothes is the way you seek how to stand before the eyes of your kin and your neighbors. This dream shows a movement toward deciding how you will be known in the village and in the house. When you try to find a way to present yourself, you are tending to the honor that you carry into the light of the gathering.
The way you walk through the rooms of the house looking for a way to be seen determines how you prepare for what is coming. We know that those who find a garment that fits their name walk into the courtyard with a straight back. A person who moves through this dream without finding what they need stands without a shield, and this vulnerability is a heavy thing. You may feel the eyes of others upon you, child, when the defense of your standing is not yet found. The dignity of your household is kept when you find the means to cover your true self. May your path lead you to the strength of a well-worn mantle.
Looking for clothes to wear means you are deciding how to show your character to the people who surround you. This dream marks a moment where you prepare the way you will be known by others.
When the search ends in nothing, you are left standing before the world without a way to shield your name. This absence of a covering leaves you open to the gaze of those you know.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
