Dream about scissors

Scissors mean that things are being pulled apart and the ties that bind are being severed. This dream shows how we separate our lives from the things or people that have grown too close, a movement that often begins with a sharp intent to change.

We see this division in the way people handle their ties to the household and the neighbors. When a person seeks to cut a bond, they are often deciding what can be kept and what must be left behind to find a new way of being. A dream of this kind reveals that the edges of your life are being redefined by a need for clarity. Such a separation can leave a wound where the connection used to be, and the sharpness of the split is felt by all who belong to you. The peace of your house rests on how cleanly these boundaries are made. May your house find strength in its new shape.

The presence of broken scissors in a dream tells you that the division you seek is not coming cleanly. Because the tool cannot finish its work, the separation remains messy and leaves the old ties still tangled and fraying.

A dream of being stabbed with scissors changes the meaning from a simple parting to a sudden and painful injury. This shows that the division is not being handled by your own hand, but is instead a conflict that strikes you where you are most vulnerable.

The act of finding scissors or buying scissors shows that you are gathering what is needed to make a clean break. You are preparing to settle old debts or to claim what is yours through a decisive change.
