Efua NyansaThe ribs in a dream show the strength of the house and the hidden ways the kin hold one another up. When these bones are whole, they act as a shield for what is most precious, keeping the heart of the family safe from the wind and the cold.
This safety grows from the way your people lean into one another when the work is heavy or the nights are long. A dream of ribs means that the people you belong to are the very frame that allows you to breathe without fear. The stability of your people is the ground you walk upon. May your house always be built on such a strong and living foundation.
A dream of breaking ribs tells of a wound dealt to the family circle. When the support of the kin is fractured, the secret safety of the household is lost, and the people feel the chill of being unprotected.
The strength of the connection is taken into yourself when you are eating ribs in a dream. This act means you are absorbing the very essence of your people, making their endurance and their history a part of your own body, child.
Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
