Efua NyansaRenovating a house means you are currently tending to the very framework of your life and the way you stand among your kin. This dream shows a time when the old ways of living are being pulled apart so that something more lasting can be set in its place. When we work to change the foundation of our dwelling, we are actually deciding how we will carry ourselves in the years to come.
This work is seldom easy, and it forces you to look at the very bones of what you have made. If you rebuild the whole structure, you bring a new and lasting strength to your household. There is a risk, however, that if the work remains incomplete, you will find yourself living amidst a lingering disorder that keeps the peace from settling. A person who tries to mend only the surface while the structure remains weak may find that the strain of the unfinished task weighs heavily on the spirit. May your hands find the strength to finish what you have begun, so that your home becomes a place of true rest for all who belong to it.
A renovated house or a newly painted house shows that the old marks upon your name are being washed away. This dream adds the weight of a finished work, showing that the renewal of your reputation is already taking hold.
When an old house is being renovated or you are fixing up an old house, the dream points to the necessity of addressing what was inherited. You are mending the very paths your kin have walked for generations, child.
The act of painting a house, whether it is someone painting a house or painting a house white, speaks to the way you present your name to the world. If the color is pure, it signifies a fresh start, but if the colors run together in a messy way, it suggests that the disagreements within your own heart are still showing through.
Roofing a house shifts the focus to the protection you provide for those under your care. This detail turns the dream toward the responsibility of keeping the elements from reaching the hearth, making the renewal a matter of safety and shelter.
Smearing a house changes the verdict of the renewal into something less certain. It suggests that the attempt to change your life is being done without care, which can lead to a messy and unresolved state for your household.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
