Efua NyansaProphesying in a dream means that a truth which has been hidden from the eyes is finally finding its way into the air. This is the way the spirit speaks when the silence of the house has become too heavy to bear. When one gives voice to what is unseen, it often brings a sudden clarity to the way we stand with those we love.
The elders tell us that when these words are spoken with a steady heart, they act as a lamp for the whole gathering. Such a gift reaches out to the neighbors and the kin, showing the path that was obscured by the dust of daily toil. We find that when the truth is shared, the foundation of the household is made firm. You may feel the weight of this clarity, child, as it settles upon the shoulders of everyone you hold dear.
There is a shadow when the truth is cast out like chaff in the wind. When the message is met with closed ears, the distance between people grows as cold as a stone left in the rain. This turning away leaves a silence that no fire can warm.
The light of what is known brings a shared understanding to your people. May your words find a home in the hearts of your kin.
Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
