Efua NyansaThe presence of plates in a dream points to the way the household gathers to sustain itself. We see in these objects the rhythm of what is shared and the strength of the bonds that keep a family fed and whole. When the table is set, the people around you find their place in the order of the house.
A dream of this kind shows how the provisions of the home are handled by those who live there. When we care for what is given, the abundance of the family grows because the tools of our living are respected. If the way we treat these things is careless, the harmony of the gathering is threatened. A broken plate in a dream can be a sign of a dispute that unsettles the peace of the room. Such a rift between kin is a heavy thing to carry. May the bread of your house always be shared in peace.
When you are washing plates or find yourself facing dirty plates in a dream, you are attending to the needs of the house. This care for the tools of the table is how the family keeps its livelihood ready and its ways clean.
A sudden loss of order is seen when smashing plates or seeing a broken plate occurs. These moments show that the common life is being fractured by anger or neglect, which makes the support of the kin less certain.
The act of buying plates shows a dream of gathering new strength. By bringing more into the house, you are adding to the capacity of the family to welcome others and to hold more for the days ahead.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
