Efua NyansaPicking plums means reaching for a sweetness that arrives too quickly to be held. This dream names a way of gathering what is easy and immediate, a way of behaving that seeks the immediate reward before the season has truly settled. When we move toward such things with haste, we often find that what we grasp is fleeting.
We have seen that those who rush to take the first bounty often leave the rest to spoil or find their hands empty when the true harvest comes. This way of living makes a person wander from the chores of the courtyard, leaving the needs of the kin to wait while you chase a passing lightness. There is a risk that the quick gain you seek will leave a bitter taste once the excitement of the catch has faded. If you act with this haste, child, you may find yourself grasping at shadows while the real sustenance stays on the branch. Even so, the ability to find joy in the small things brings a brightness to the table of those you love. May your hands find the fruit that stays sweet long after the sun has set.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
