Dream about packing a bag

Efua NyansaTell your dream

Packing a bag in a dream tells of a heart that has begun to gather itself for a new way of walking. This movement marks the moment when the old ways of being no longer fit the person you are becoming, and you begin to gather what is truly yours to carry forward.

When we prepare to leave a place or a season, we decide what is worth the weight and what must be left behind for the dust. If you try to take everything, you find yourself unable to move, but if you choose with care, you find that your spirit becomes light. You may feel the pull of what is being left, child, yet this gathering is how we honor the path ahead. The way you prepare yourself brings a steadying grace to all those who dwell in your house. The weight of what you cannot leave behind is a burden that stays with you. May your hands find only what is necessary and good for the journey.

Packing bags in a dream shows that this change is not a solitary thing, but a movement that involves the whole house. Because you are preparing for more than just yourself, the shift in your life reaches out to touch the people you belong to, requiring a shared readiness for what is coming.

Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
