Efua NyansaLosing a coat means you are standing before your kin without the layer that keeps your standing firm. This dream speaks of how we present ourselves to the village and the house, and what happens when the shell we have built for our name falls away. When a person ceases to carry what covers them, the way they are seen by those they belong to changes.
We have seen that those who walk without their customary covering often find their private matters pulled into the light of the courtyard. This lack of shielding can leave you feeling the chill of being known too plainly by those you usually respect. Such a dream marks a moment where your privacy and your standing are no longer held by your own hand. The people of your household see you as you are, stripped of the dignity you usually wear.
The strength of your house remains in the truth of who you are behind the cloth. May your people find beauty in the person they see when the finery is gone.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
