Efua NyansaKilling a tortoise in a dream marks a rupture in the way a life moves. This act cuts short the long waiting that lets a house weather the years. When the slow, certain pace of a creature is ended by force, the ability to wait out a storm is lost.
You are striking at the very thing that keeps a lineage rooted and calm. To end such a persistent life is to discard the patience that builds a future, child, and this loss leaves a void where stability once sat. A hardness enters the way you meet the world, making it harder to find peace in the long stretches of time. We see that the strength of the gathering is weakened when the slow work of the years is disregarded. May your feet find the old path again and bring stillness to your people.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
