Dream about it raining

It raining brings a descent that touches the spirit and the ground alike. You are seeing how the air grows heavy with what must be washed away or what must be endured.

When the sky opens, the ways we have lived are met by what comes from above, and we find ourselves either softened by the moisture or chilled by the weight of it. We see how the atmosphere of the home is shaped by what is allowed to fall upon us. The heavy side is that a storm can leave the heart feeling soaked through and cold. May the waters that fall bring a quietness to your courtyard and a freshness to your kin.

Raining heavily turns the descent into a weight that no one can stand against. The fury of the water makes the cleansing feel like a sudden, bitter chill that breaks your strength.

Raining outside moves the meaning to the world beyond your door, where the renewal happens in the fields and the streets. This shows that the change is moving through the community and the land you walk upon.

The dream of raining inside moves the descent into the very center of your life, where the boundaries of the self are breached. Because the water enters the shelter, the washing is not something you watch, but something that happens to the private places where you rest, child, and this makes the renewal a deep and unavoidable thing.
