Efua NyansaGames are the things we turn to when we wish to avoid the weight of our true lives. When you find yourself caught in these diversions, you are often looking for a way to measure your own worth through things that pass like smoke. We see this in the way a person might spend their strength on a struggle that leaves no grain in the storehouse and no warmth in the hearth.
The elders tell us that those who live only for the moment’s play find that the seasons pass them by while they are still looking for a way to win. This dream points to a life where the focus has shifted away from what is lasting toward what is merely engaging. There is a danger in letting your spirit be occupied by things that offer no harvest for the household. Such a way of living leaves the soul thin and the family ties brittle. If you treat your duties as things to be bypassed, you may find that the world you built is made of nothing but wind. May you find the joy that stays when the sun goes down and the work is done.
A puzzle that has been shattered tells you that you are trying to mend a situation where the parts no longer recognize one another. This dream shows that the matter you are tending is too fractured to ever return to its former state.
When you are caught in a video game, you are proving your cleverness against a shadow. This dream shows that your efforts are being poured into a contest that provides no real nourishment for your spirit.
The way you see billiards adds the sharp edge of rivalry to the dream. This turns a simple distraction into a way of measuring yourself against your neighbor to see who can strike the harder blow.
Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
