Dream about fog

A fog settles over the path you walk when you cannot see where the next step lands. This dream shows a season where the ways of the household and the ties to your kin are obscured by things left unsaid or not yet known.

When you move through such a dream, you find that the ground beneath you is no longer certain because the landmarks of your life have been swallowed by a grey veil. Such a time often brings a heavy stillness where the truth of a matter is held back from view. We see that when the way is hidden, the heart becomes restless and the footing becomes unsteady. This uncertainty is a weight that rests upon the shoulders of everyone in the house. May the light find the gaps in the mist so that you and your people may walk together in the clear.

If you find yourself being lost in fog, the dream tells of a confusion that has taken hold because you no longer recognize the direction of your own life. You stumble because the old paths have vanished and you have forgotten which way leads back to your own door.

When you are driving through fog, the dream shows that you are attempting to force a way forward through a situation that is not yet ready to be mastered. This movement is a struggle to maintain control when the vision required for the journey is being withheld from you.

A dense fog thickens the meaning of the dream by making the lack of clarity feel absolute and heavy. This thickness shows that the trouble has settled deep into the air, and there is no use in running until the sky decides to open.
