Dream about flying in a parachute

Flying in a parachute means you are looking for a way to stay upright when the ground of your life begins to fall away. This dream speaks of the sudden changes that strike a house, the moments when the things you leaned upon to keep you from stumbling no longer hold. We see this when a person tries to catch the wind to slow a descent that was not invited, seeking a grace that arrives only when the fall has already begun.

Such a way of behaving is often a search for a safety that cannot be grasped by hand. It is the attempt to find a buffer between your people and the hard truths that are coming. When you reach for this protection, you are acknowledging that the old ways of standing firm are being swept aside. There is a weight in knowing that the descent is happening, and you are left to find what can catch you.

The hope in this dream is that even in the descent, you are not falling alone. May your people find the strength to hold one another as the air changes around you.

A parachute not opening means the doors to your relief are barred. This dream shows that the help you seek is being kept from you, because the ways you are trying to save yourself are not the ways that will work. It is the heavy truth of a path that stays closed when you need it most.
