Efua NyansaFighting a spirit means you are contending with a haunting memory that refuses to settle. This dream shows how a past grief or a heavy word spoken long ago still walks beside you, seeking a place in your present house. When we struggle against what is no longer there, we find that the battle is not with a stranger, but with the shadows our own history has cast upon the floor.
The elders say that when a person fights a spirit, they are trying to find a way to live with what they cannot change. This struggle pulls you from the circle of your kin and the work of your own hands. You find yourself caught in a tension between the life you lead and the life that was lost. Such a dream carries a weight of deep dread that can make the heart feel small and the path feel narrow. May the peace of those who have walked before you settle upon your home.
An evil spirit in your dream turns the struggle into a confrontation with a specific darkness that seeks to unseat your peace. The memory you face has a cruel intent, acting like a wind that tries to blow out the lamp in your hand.
Fighting spirits in a dream suggests that the memories are many and the struggle is wearying. You are surrounded by many ghosts of what has passed, and you spend all your strength just to keep them from crowding your doorway.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
