Dream about electricity going out

Electricity going out brings a sudden blindness to the ways you usually move through your world. When the force that drives the household is taken away, the rhythm of the day is broken and the connections that sustain the work of many hands are severed.

You find that the sudden absence of this power leaves you in a state of confusion where the paths you once knew by heart are no longer visible. This dream marks a time when the strength you rely on to navigate your affairs is pulled back, leaving you to stand in a stillness that is not your own. A loss of this vital energy can leave the connections between you and your neighbors feeling strained and the common tasks of the day unfinished.

When the light is finally restored, the relief that follows settles over the house like the first cool breeze after a heavy heat. This return of strength brings a renewed sense of purpose to all who belong to your circle, child. May the clarity that follows the dark bring peace to your hearth and your kin.

Losing electricity or having no electricity both point to a halting of the life that moves through your hands. When this force is absent, the work of the family and the movement of the day fail, and the house settles into a stillness that is not its own.

A blackout means that the sudden clouding of your mind is a weight that settles upon you. Because the sight is taken away all at once, the ability to plan or to act is halted, leaving you to wait in a darkness that feels heavy and unyielding.
