Efua NyansaEels appear in a dream when you are dealing with something or someone that slips through your fingers just as you think you have it grasped. This kind of dream points to a truth about how we handle what we cannot easily hold. When we reach for a prize that refuses to stay still, we spend our strength chasing a shadow.
We see that those who try to catch what is slippery often lose the very thing they seek by trying too hard to pin it down. This way of moving through the world means you may find yourself cheated by a gain that had no substance to begin with. If you find yourself grasping at shadows, child, you may find that the harder you squeeze, the faster the prize departs. The weight of this pursuit is the heavy side, as it leaves the hands empty and the spirit tired. There is a way to stand firm by knowing which things are meant to be watched rather than caught, and this wisdom brings a peace that stays with your household. May your hands find rest in what is real and lasting.
A giant eel in a dream makes the elusive nature of the symbol much more imposing. The scale of what you are chasing suggests that the person who cannot be relied upon or the gain that stays out of reach carries a weight that feels much larger than it truly is.
An eel bite in a dream means you are finally meeting a struggle that has long eluded you. You are no longer merely chasing what slips away, but are instead standing your ground against the difficulty. By meeting the struggle, you find the power to leave a mark that will not be easily erased.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
