Efua NyansaEating fish means that sustenance is coming to you from a source that you cannot see with your own eyes. This kind of dream shows how what is being brought to the table is a gift from the unseen, much like the way rain finds the dry earth when no one is looking. What is brought to your table does not stop at your own mouth, it reaches the hands of all who sit with you.
The way you take this gift tells us how the gain settles in your life. When you eat what is already made, you take in a harvest that has been gathered by the hands of those who came before you. When the gain is still moving or waiting to be caught, the dream points to a benefit that is not yet firm under your feet. You may find that the things you take in are still being weighed by the hands of fate, child, and the arrival of this fortune brings a stillness to the ones who belong to you. May your table always be heavy with such grace.
Eating fried fish, or eating roasted fish, or eating smoked fish, shows that you are absorbing a gain that has been drawn from the deep waters and prepared by the fire. This type of dream means the satisfaction you feel is something earned through the heat of effort and the drying of old labors.
The dream of eating fish with bones, or swallowing fish, carries a warning of a small sting that you did not see coming. A sudden prick may catch you off guard, just as a small trouble can find its way into a time of plenty.
The dream of eating cooked fish, or eating boiled fish, means that the prosperity you receive is already settled and brings a calm to your spirit. The work of the hearth is done, and what you take in now is a blessing that requires no more striving.
If the dream involves eating raw fish, it means the benefit you are looking for is not yet firm. You are reaching for a fortune that has not yet been fixed by the hands of time, and its arrival remains a matter of what is still to come.
When you see yourself catching live fish in a dream, the gain arrives with a suddenness that surprises the heart. This is a dream of an unexpected windfall that moves with its own life before it is brought to your door.
Eating a big fish changes the weight of the dream by showing that the provision is vast. Such a large gift reaches far beyond your own reach and fills the cupboards of everyone who shares your name.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
