Efua NyansaDirty shoes mean that the path you walk is no longer separate from the earth that carries you. This dream shows how the journey of a life brings the dust and the grit of the world onto the very things that move you forward.
When we walk among our kin, we often try to keep our ways and our standing clean, yet the road leaves its mark on everyone. To see dirty shoes is to see that your movement through the world is meeting the reality of the ground. This exposure can make a person feel as though their true standing is being clouded by the things they touch. You, child, find that the ways of the world are clinging to your steps. Such a thing is a sign that the things you encounter are leaving a trace upon your character.
The weight of what you encounter is real, and the stains of the road are not easily brushed away. May your stride be firm as you pass through the grit.
Muddy shoes show that the things you encounter are heavy and wet, sticking to you with a force that is harder to shake off than mere dust. This happens because the ground you tread is soft and yielding, which means the experiences you are having are sinking deep into your stride.
White shoes getting dirty mean that what was once pure or held in high regard is now being met by the common world. This dream shows that a state of being that was kept separate and bright is now being touched by the realities of the journey.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
