Dream about climbing

Climbing is a way of moving toward a higher vantage that tests the strength of what holds you. When we reach for a position above our current station, we rely on the stability of the things we lean against and the steadiness of our own feet. This dream shows how you move through the efforts of your life, and it tells us how the support you have chosen serves you.

The way you move upward reveals whether the foundations of your household are firm or if you are trying to rise on something that cannot bear your weight. A person who moves with purpose finds that their progress is mirrored by the strength of their surroundings. If you find yourself losing ground, it is because the things you trust to hold you are not as solid as they seem. There is a risk of falling when the climb is made on what is brittle. We see the truth of your standing in the way you ascend. May your footing be sure and your support be lasting.

A dream of climbing a pole finds that the wood is straight and the aid it gives is constant. Because the wood stands straight and true, you find that your work toward a higher place is met with a firm aid that does not bend.

When you are struggling to climb or climbing high, the dream speaks of the heavy toll that great effort takes on the spirit. You are reaching for a crest that demands everything from you, and this can make the path feel as though it is slipping away even as you push upward. It is a sign that the height you seek may be costing you the very stability you need to stay there, child.
