Efua NyansaClimbing a ladder in a dream shows the way you move through the world to reach what you have set your heart upon. This movement is the path of your own efforts to lift your standing and your means. When people labor to rise, they find that the height they reach depends on the strength of the steps they take and the steadiness of their footing.
The way you handle this ascent is seen by the house and the kin. A measured climb brings order to the family, for every step is a way you hold yourself to what you have begun. If the way is uncertain, the progress feels fragile to all who rely on your strength. Such a dream may show that the rise you seek is met with difficulty, and the path is not as firm as you need it to be. May your feet find a firm place on the wood and your kin find rest as you rise.
Going up a ladder or climbing a high ladder in a dream means that your upward movement is certain and holds a great distance to cover. Because the climb is long, the progress you make is seen as a significant and lasting advancement for you and your people.
Climbing down a ladder in a dream turns the direction of your movement toward the ground. This descent means you are leaving a position of height, often to return to what is known or to settle what was once unsettled.
Not being able to climb a ladder in a dream shows that your progress has met a sudden stop. This stillness comes when the way forward is blocked or the strength to continue is not there, leaving your rise unfinished.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
