Dream about clay

Clay is the very matter from which we are fashioned and the substance that holds our lives together. When you see this in a dream, you are looking at the fundamental elements of your existence and the common ground that connects you to those who came before you.

The way you handle this substance shows how you are tending to the things that sustain your household. If a person treats this material with care, they are strengthening the bonds of their kin, but if the material is neglected, the very things that provide your security may begin to fail. You are currently standing upon the basic truth of what you have built, and this truth is as real as the earth beneath your feet. May your hands find the strength to hold what is precious.

Red clay in a dream brings a heat to the meaning that points toward the blood and the passions of your lineage. This color turns the focus toward the living, breathing connections of your kin, making the fundamental nature of the dream a matter of the heart and the life force that flows between you.

The act of eating clay or molding clay shows a spirit that is working deeply with the necessities of life to create something lasting. By taking this raw matter into your hands or your being, you are actively participating in the shaping of your own destiny and the prosperity of your people. This kind of dream means you are finding the means to turn what is common into something that serves the whole family, child, as you weave your efforts into the fabric of the world.
