Dream about buying perfume

Buying perfume is an act of seeking out a way to be known by the people who surround you. When you go to gather such a thing, you are looking to establish how your name will travel through the village and the household. We have seen that those who go to carefully select what they carry often find that their presence brings a sweetness to the gatherings they attend.

The way you move through the world in this dream points to how you tend to your own standing among your kin. By choosing to acquire this, you are working to ensure that the manner in which you are spoken of remains pleasant and bright. It is a dream of tending to the invisible thread that connects your character to the ears of your neighbors. A person who seeks to be worthy of their name finds that their children and their elders carry that grace with them.

The heavy side is that a name once lost is difficult to gather back from the dust. May your name be as a scent that lingers long after you have left the room.

Buying cologne changes the dream by making the search more about the respect you command from those you meet. Because you are looking for this specific scent, the dream shows you are actively tending to the honor you hold in the eyes of others.

Shopping for perfume makes the dream reach further, for it shows that the praise you seek is meant to carry to many people. This detail tells us that the reputation you are building is meant to be widespread, touching even those far from your own hearth.
