Efua NyansaBurning shoes marks a sudden break in the way you move through the world. When the things that carry you are consumed by fire, the path you have been following is being closed off by a force that does not ask permission. This dream speaks of a transition where the old ways of traveling are no longer available to you, leaving the ground beneath your feet feeling strange and new.
We see this when a person tries to cling to a way of life that has already reached its end. Such a thing leads to a stumbling that hurts the spirit, for you cannot walk forward if you are trying to use what is already ash. The flames take away the familiar, and child, this leaves you standing in a place where you must find a different way to stand. There is a risk of being left without a footing when the old habits are destroyed. Yet, this clearing allows for a new direction to be seen. May you find a new way to walk that brings peace to your house and strength to your kin.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
