Efua NyansaBroken slippers mean that the ease you find within your own walls has begun to fray. When you stop mending what serves you in the dark, the warmth of the home begins to leak out through the cracks.
We see that when a person stops looking after the simple ways they rest, the peace of the whole household feels the strain. This dream shows how the ties that bind you to your own rest are thinning, child, and it tells of a house where the small duties are left to gather dust. The hardness of the floor reaches up to meet you where you once felt most sheltered.
The strength of your kin remains in the way you tend to each other, even when the softness fades. May you find the thread to pull your life back into its proper shape.
Torn slippers show that the neglect has been growing for a long time. Such a sight means that the habit of overlooking your own needs has taken root, and the comfort of your dwelling is being worn thin by a lack of care.
Cut slippers change the verdict of the dream from a simple warning to a sudden break. This detail suggests that the ease of your life has been interrupted by a sharp or unexpected loss of stability, leaving you to walk where the ground is no longer kind.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
