Efua NyansaBreathing in a dream is the way you take in the world and keep your life moving in its proper course. When you do this, you give strength to your bones and to your soul, just as a fire in the hearth keeps a house warm through the cold months. It is the sign of a person who walks with a settled heart, making sure that the needs of the self and the needs of the kin are met with a constant, even hand.
You find that this dream speaks to how you manage the pressures that crowd around you. Those who breathe with ease bring a stillness to their surroundings that helps others find their own footing. When this rhythm is lost, the tension of the world begins to press too hard against your own boundaries. It is a sign that the air you need to live is being crowded out by things that demand too much of your attention. The heaviness of such a dream shows where your spirit is struggling to find its center. May your breath remain deep and your heart remain light as you walk among those you love.
The difficulty breathing dream shows that the anxieties of your life are narrowing the space you have to exist. You are gasping for air because the demands of your days have become a weight that will not let you rest.
Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
