Efua NyansaBeing lost in the ocean means you are facing a destiny that is far greater than the small circles you have walked in. This dream speaks of a journey where the old ways of knowing your place no longer serve you, and the vastness of what is coming can feel as though it has no shore.
When a person finds themselves in this state, they are often moving away from the familiar comforts of the household and into the currents of a larger life. You may feel that the path is hidden from you, child, as if the very world has grown too wide to hold. You find yourself pulled away from the hands of those who hold you close. There is a weight in realizing that you cannot control the tides of what is meant to be.
The strength of your people is what remains when the landmarks vanish. A house that has weathered many storms provides the memory of stability even when the waters are deep. May the currents carry you toward a shore where your people wait.
Being pulled or swept out to sea, or drifting away from the land, shows a loss of agency against the forces of power. You find that the currents of destiny are moving you even when you do not choose to move, and this can feel like a surrender to things you cannot command.
Being lost or stranded at sea suggests a deep isolation where the connections to your kin feel severed. You find yourself standing where no hand can reach you, and the dream shows how you hold your spirit when the shore is gone.
Being stuck in the ocean or in the middle of it means your progress has met a barrier that you cannot see or touch. This dream shows a moment where your journey is halted by the sheer scale of your own fate, leaving you to wait for a way to open.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
