Efua NyansaBeing attacked by a spirit means you are facing a weight of solemn news that offers no place for you to hide. This dread arrives when the things left unsaid in the family or the heavy customs of those who came before you press against you. When we do not name what troubles us, the shadow of what is unsaid grows until it feels as though it might break us.
You may feel the breath of this dread as a force that leaves you unable to move or speak your own truth. It is a time when the pressure from those around you or the gravity of what has passed can make you feel small and silent. This heavy season is when the soul feels the weight of things it cannot carry alone. Such an onslaught is a sign of a deep reckoning that is currently unfolding in your life. May the strength of your ancestors find its way to your heart, and may your household find peace in the light of what is known.
The presence of many spirits or the feeling of being haunted by a spirit means the dread is not a single event but a persistent atmosphere. It turns a sudden blow into a lingering shadow that follows you through the rooms of your life. This changes the dream from a single strike into a state of being where you must learn to live alongside a truth that will not leave you.
Being held down by a spirit makes the dread a weight that sits heavy on your limbs and keeps you from rising. This dream shows that the news or the fear you face is currently paralyzing your ability to act or change your course. It is the feeling of being pinned by a duty or a sorrow that refuses to let you rise.
When you are being choked or strangled by a spirit, the dread moves into your throat and steals your ability to protest. This detail tells you that the pressure you feel is specifically aimed at your voice, making it hard to tell your people what you truly need. You are finding that the weight of this news is suffocating your capacity to stand up for yourself, child.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
