Efua NyansaA vulture appears as a sign of those who watch for your weakness to take what you have gathered. This dream speaks of the hunger that lives in people who do not build for themselves but wait to feast upon the labors of others. When we allow such greed to circle our lives, it pulls the eyes of the household away from peace and toward the shadows of what might be lost.
You find that the presence of these birds marks a time of testing for your standing among your kin. If you are met with their hunger, you are facing a season where the protection of your circle is thin. Misfortune often follows those who let the scavenging spirit of others into the center of their affairs. We hope the walls of your home hold firm against the wind.
The color of the bird turns the warning toward a different shadow. A black vulture shows a darkness that sits heavy upon your spirit, while a white vulture brings a trouble that feels strange and hollow, like a sickness without a name.
The strength of your defense is what matters when you are being attacked by a vulture or when you are killing a vulture. To strike back at the scavenger is to reclaim the ground that was being taken, and such an act brings a sudden clearing of the air for you and yours. This victory means the hunger of your enemies is broken by your own hand, child.
A huge vulture carries a weight that makes the shadow of misfortune feel much larger than it is. Such a dream tells you that the threat you feel is not a small matter of gossip or a passing slight, but a heavy pressure that demands your full attention.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
