Efua NyansaA tongue is the way we hold our word and the way we carry our truth to the people we belong to. When we use this gift well, we bind ourselves to our neighbors and our kin with a strength that lasts through the seasons.
A dream of a tongue shows how your speech moves among those who know your name. If the words you carry are used to divide or to wound, the peace of your household is what is at stake. We have seen that when people use their breath to tear at the fabric of the family, the silence that follows is heavy and long. You find that the weight of what you have said rests on everyone who sits at your table. May your words be a bridge that brings your people closer together.
A swollen tongue makes the speech of this dream heavy and slow, as if the truth is struggling to find its way out. This state shows that you are carrying a word that is too large for your mouth, and such a burden makes it hard to be clear with those you love.
To see yourself cutting off a tongue in a dream is to witness the moment you force a secret to remain hidden by your own hand. This act shows a turning inward that silences your own truth, and such a choice leaves you standing alone even when you are in the middle of your own people.
The dream of a swollen tongue tells us that your words are thick and difficult to manage. Because the truth feels too large or too heavy for your mouth, you cannot reach your kin with the clarity they deserve, and this makes the peace of the house hard to find.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
