Efua NyansaA thumb in a dream shows where your personal resolve meets the world. This strength is what you use to grasp your own life and hold fast to what you have built. When you lean on this part of yourself, you find the way to stand even when the wind blows against your people.
We see that what you can hold depends on how you carry your own weight. A person who stands firm in their word provides a foundation for the whole house. When you use your strength to protect what is yours, the circle of your people remains unbroken. A loss of this grip leaves you without the means to pull yourself upward, and you may find yourself unable to seize the opportunities that come. May your hands keep their grip and your spirit keep its course.
When you see a broken thumbnail or find yourself losing a thumbnail in a dream, the verdict shifts toward a loss of small things that matter. These dreams tell of how little things can slip away and leave you feeling diminished. It is like the way a man finds himself unable to mend a net because the needle has failed him, leaving him poorly equipped to deal with the work at hand.
Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
