Efua NyansaA swing marks how the winds of life move through the lives of those we hold dear. When we see this dream, we see the way the ground beneath our feet shifts as the seasons change for the whole house.
The movement of this dream shows how people rise and fall in their standing among neighbors and kin. One who leans too far into the height risks a loss of balance that touches the stability of the hearth. We see that the way we handle these shifts determines if the family stays gathered or is scattered by the motion. It is a time when the rhythm of the household is unsettled, child, and the suddenness of the change can leave a person feeling adrift. The way you hold to those you love is what keeps the walls from shaking when the world moves. The hands you reach for in the dark are what keep the family whole while the earth moves. The way you stand with your kin now is what keeps the house from falling when the wind comes. May your roots stay deep even when the air moves swiftly around you.
Riding a swing tells of a time when you are actively caught in the turning of your own luck. Because you are part of the motion, the rise and fall of your circumstances feel more immediate and personal to you.
Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
