Efua NyansaA singer in a dream is the way news travels through the mouths of those you live beside. When what is said of you becomes a song, it moves from your own heart into the ears of the whole village. This is how we find that a person’s character has become a matter of public talk, for a voice that carries far cannot be hidden by a single door.
The way people speak of you shapes the ground you walk on among your kin. If the words are used to lift a name, the household finds a lightness in its step. If the words are used to tear a name down, the shadow falls over the hearth. You may find, child, that the things you do in private are already being woven into the stories of the neighbors. A dream of a singer is the dream of being known. May the stories told of your house be as kind as the morning sun.
The dream of meeting a famous singer brings a weight to the news that is passing through the air. Because the voice belongs to one who is already known by many, the things being said about you carry a power that reaches beyond your own circle.
When you see a famous singer, the public expression of your life is at its strongest. This detail shows that the news of your ways has reached a place where it can no longer be contained by your own people alone.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
