Efua NyansaA salmon is a sign of the strength it takes to move against the current of life to reach a place of nourishment. This dream shows how you face the hard waters that push against your progress. When you press your weight against the rush, you find the path back to the things that keep you whole.
We see this truth in how a person handles the weight of their days, for those who keep moving through the cold and the rush find a way to bring life back to their own hearth. The way you keep your footing in the stream brings a bounty that fills the bowls of your neighbors. This endurance is a deep thing, and child, it is the way the river itself teaches us to stay the course. There is a heaviness in the struggle that can tire the spirit, and the water does not always make way. Even so, the return is fruitful and the strength you find becomes a gift for your household. May you reach the place where the water slows and your people are gathered.
If you are cooking salmon in a dream, the heat of your trials is currently transforming your hard work into something that can be shared. This process prepares the victory for the table of your kin.
The act of catching salmon, buying salmon, or eating salmon in a dream means that the struggle has already yielded its reward. You have moved through the resistance and now you hold the substance that was won. This is the arrival of the prize that follows the long swim.
A dream of smoked salmon carries a different weight, as the preservation of the prize shows a need to hold onto what has been gained. It suggests a way of keeping the strength you have found so that it does not slip away when the waters change.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
